Max is a sweet loving boy, one year old, neutered, microchipped looking for his forever home. Until then, foster is needed for this lovely boy.

“we found Max wandering the mean streets of Phoenix – he was in the middle of a busy intersection when Brian stopped traffic to save Max”

says Brian’s wife Lori. Lori and Brian have been taking care of Max since he was saved, but a jealous female in their house prevents Max from staying at their home much longer.

PAWSaz saves animals from euthanasia and places them in temporary foster homes until they find their forever homes. Until PAWSaz has a permanent sanctuary, we depend on foster homes to help these innocent lives and prevent further, unnecessary deaths.

Over 50,000 dogs and cats are killed in Maricopa County every year. The shelters are bursting at the seams. The public must be made aware of the tragedies our animals face daily. Please save a life, adopt a shelter pet, foster and spay and neuter!

Dogs from various county shelters that are currently on the “e-list”, which means they are going to be euthanized (put to death), will be rescued for this special adoption event. All of these dogs are wonderful animals, just abandoned or lost, scared and confused. They are looking for a forever loving home!

Dogs are coming from shelters all over the State, from as far as Show Low, Winslow and Yuma. Various rescue groups and fosters are participating in this event.

Dogs are healthy, spayed/neutered, current on vaccinations and micro-chipped!

Various breeds, sizes and ages available.  Adoption fees $55

 

When:

Saturday, February 11, 2012 / 9AM to 5PM
Sunday, February 12, 2012 / 10AM to 3PM

 

Where:

Kiwanis Park, 6111 S. All American Way, Tempe, AZ
