Cats:

Currently there are 6 cats living with us.

Black Betty came to us in January of 2011. She is a sweet, black young lady who was being abused by teenagers. A good samaritan rescued her from the abuse. She has been with us since, and she is a loving, affectionate kitty.

Dolly is a mature Himalayan, approximately 9 years old, who has been with us since 2005.  Dolly likes to lay on her back and look down on the dogs and other cats. Dolly is a very affectionate cat that loves to be groomed.

Targosz is a Maine Coon who has been with us since 2002. He was a motherless kitten living in an alley in Phoenix, and he is the most outgoing, talkative cat we have. He is friends with the dogs, and prefers girl cats over boy cats.

Mimi was saved as a tiny kitten in 2006, and has been with us since. Mimi is very shy around the dogs, but loves people and likes to say “me!”.

Gagne came to us the same day as Reuben and Chubby. Gagne was going to be euthanized. Gagne is a completely white angora cat, and he is adventurous and mischievous. Gagne and Gary are roomies. Gagne is approximately 3 years old.

Dori was saved in 2004. She was about 2 years old at the time. Dorie really does not know she is a cat, since she mostly socializes with the dogs. She loves to sit with them and have conversations. She also likes to sit in closets and drawers. Dori is very affectionate with men. She is a beautiful, quiet, affectionate girl!
